Ceramic coating: excellent for easier care, not a substitute for PPF
Ceramic coating can improve water repellency, gloss and washing behaviour. It does not have the physical thickness of PPF and should not be sold as equivalent stone-chip protection.

Where the money goes
Preparation and polishing can matter more than a large “9H” or multi-year advertising claim. Coating over swirled or poorly prepared paint does not make the defects disappear.
PPF plus ceramic
The services can be combined: PPF for physical protection on exposed panels and ceramic for easier care. Do not pay twice for overlapping preparation or add-ons without understanding what is actually being supplied.
