Compare the product and installation — not just the PPF logo
We do not rank PPF brands from “best” to “worst”. A brand name alone does not tell you which product line is being installed or how well the work will be done.
Compare these instead
- Exact product line: not simply “3M” or “XPEL”.
- Written warranty: issuer, duration and exclusions.
- Installer verification: use the brand's official locator when one is available.
- Cutting and edges: ask how bonnet, door and curved edges are treated.
- Preparation: cleaning, decontamination and correction where needed.
- Aftercare: post-install inspection and how lifting or bubbles are handled.
Do not assume “authorised”
We do not assume that every installer using a recognised film is authorised. Verify that claim on the manufacturer's official site or with a verifiable document.
Then compare the actual quote using the buying checklist.
